On the up side, it means less laundry come bedding wash day! This is just one of those things I'm trying to set aside as I focus more on what really matters with my home and my family. You know what, it wasn't so hard after all!
That's it-I officially give up. I quit. I'm done fighting. I'm throwing in the towel...or the sheet in this case! I have a thing with sheets. I love sleeping between them, all fresh and crisp and with a ton of blankets/quilts piled on top. I sleep wonderfully that way! My family disagrees. They think sheets are a huge waste of effort and cold besides. They would all rather just sleep wrapped up in a cozy, fuzzy, fleece blanket. As I was trying to put all the sheets back on the beds this week, and I was struggling to get the one on my son's loft bed, that's when defeat occurred. I wrestled the bottom one into place (that is not negotiable-they all WILL sleep on top of a sheet at least!) About that moment my son came in and said "mom, I don't know why you are spending all that time putting sheets on when I never use it anyway." That's it-I give up. It's a sad day for me...
