I love you J and E! I love being your mom, even in the challenging times! And for all of you who have loved (and continue to love) our children so well in so many transitions-THANK YOU! There is little else as amazing as watching others in the Body of Christ love my children selflessly. All of you have helped this journey be a little easier for our kids and I'm sure that they will remember much of the journey as well and good because you were there for them along the way.
This year J was really excited to make me things for Mother's Day and we've been celebrating it for several days actually. However, the best gift was late tonight after they were sleeping. I was syncing my phone trying to make sure it all was backed up. There wasn't room to download all my pictures so I started to go through old files on the computer to free up some space. Ty and I sat for over an hour looking at old pictures of the kids when they were little, laughing at videos, wondering at the changes and memories along the way! What a journey we've been on just since becoming parents even. We are so blessed! Our kids are amazing-they make us laugh and cry and grow and constantly learn new things. They have been troopers through more transitions than a lot of people have their whole childhood. When we look through the pictures, we see happy kids who have many more friends than a lot of adults I know. They have friends in different states and different countries. They have had such a wide array of experiences to date, and that only continues. We see kids who are well loved, not just by us but by our family and our "family" all over the world. This weekend we've had many meals with friends who are like family and we have shared the wonder of God's blessings in each conversation. Tonight was no different. God is good! He has given me the joy of mothering 2 special kiddos and I look forward to the future and whatever it holds with them!
