You may wonder what prompted this and it was really 2 things. First, it was the day today-the day I knew would hit when I would just be out of patience with the kids and while nothing was really wrong or bad about today I just am ready for a bit of a break from the constant needs of the kids while Ty's away. That on top of an email from a dear friend who is convinced they do not have what it takes to be used by God has had me thinking about this a lot. The bottom line is we are really all a mess no matter what path God has called us down. That is the whole message of our hope and our faith-God sent Jesus to be part of this world to redeem the mess of it all, of me and of you. As I put my crying children back to bed tonight without a lot of endearment, I was extra thankful that I am rescued from my mess! I hope amidst the craziness that can be the Holiday Season you too can reflect on what mess Jesus has rescued you from!
On another note-yesterday's post referenced our friend Dileep's blog where he talks about a young middle eastern man named Daniel who was saved through technology. I got to "meet" Daniel today via the wonders of technology-me, and the kids face-to-face with the saving power of Jesus with Ty and a brother who are literally around the world from us. It was awesome!
